The Reception

The reception will be held at Camp Abe Lincoln Lodge, Blue Grass, Iowa. It will begin as soon after the ceremony as possible - once guests arrive, the music and fun will begin.

The theme for the reception is an outdoor garden party of sorts. Please join us for dinner and dancing - Iowa style. All the traditional reception elements will be present, including the toasts, the introductions, the first dance, the cake, but come prepared to eat Iowa pork and dance to country music!

We think that the setting we have chosen will add to the evening - an old lodge with soaring ceilings, surrounded by woods, and close to the Mississippi River. All we need now is a wonderful evening so we can also enjoy the outdoor patio!
