Reception location and directions
Camp Abe Lincoln is located at 1624 W. Front Street, Blue Grass, Iowa.
To get there from the church, head north on Iowa Street to Locust Street. Turn left (west) onto Locust Street and go three blocks to Harrison Street.
Turn left onto Harrison Street (south) (US-61 S), and follow it down to River Drive.
Make a right (west) onto River Drive (US-61/67). You will then drive along the Mississippi River for a ways, and start to head out of town.
After you pass a large Ford dealership on the left hand side of the road, there will be an interchange, with an exit for Rockingham Road. Take this exit, and turn left (west) onto Rockingham Road (SR-22 W/HWY-22 W) .
This will again take you closer to the river, and you will drive through the small villages of Walnut Grove, Linwood, and Buffalo.
Approximately 2.5 miles west of Buffalo, you will see a sign on you right for the YMCA Camp Abe Lincoln. Across the road is a PCS potash plant. The camp is set back a little from the road, with a small board fence, and the road goes up into the trees.
Look for the balloons and signs, and follow the directions to the lodge once you turn onto the gravel road that leads to the camp.
